Charleston Magazine White Hot Fashion feature It’s been such a busy month I totally slipped on telling peeps about this! Our eyelet Heyward shorts (bottom pic) and our Scalloped Ringer Tee with Ladson shorts..you guessed it, all in white! were featured in Charleston Mag this month. Thank you Ayoka for always remembering Troubie! This was a beautiful spread. March is the big fashion issue, being as its CFW and all. I didn’t participate as much as in last year when I was a judge, or the year before that when I was a featured designer, or 2 years before that when…you get it. So this year I skipped…but there’s always next year!     Troubadour Luncheon to celebrate the SS13 collection! “I wish we could do it every Friday” is what we were all caught saying.       Wowzies!!!  I haven’t even seen it in person yet, but to say I’m reeling is an understatement. Press is one of those tricky subjects with me. Pictures get taken, paragraphs written, samples pulled and (oh what i thought!) had gone to press, only to find out….. ugh, it didn’t make it….again. Needless to say I learned how not to hold my breath. And to say I’m happy and honored and have that electric buzz feeling that Southern Living tapped me as not only a Southern Tastemaker, but a best dressed one at that has me beside myself with joy. I’ve worked hard. I take that back - I have worked very very VERY hard.  And whoever tells you that running your own company, especially a wholesale apparel company at that, is easy? Well I’m here to look them squarely in the eye and call them nuts, yes, fruitcake crazy. It’s one of the most competitive hardest industries out there…so am I happy Southern Living naming me a Best Dressed Southern Tastemaker and one of the South’s top new fashion designers? Yeah… I’ll let my boat be floated by this one for a while.  xxx Lindsey
